Evelyn Jean (Doyle) Parker

Evelyn Jean Parker, age 79 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ and the F.O.E. #2293 Auxiliary. Mrs. Parker was born October 7, 1939 in Russellville, Ohio the daughter of the late Preston and Josephine (Kennedy) Doyle. She was also preceded in death by her husband – John A. Parker in 1999 and five sisters – Opal Straub, Avenelle Scott, Frances Carl, Anna Lou Darlington and Wanda Jones.

Mrs. Parker is survived by one son – Tim Parker of Georgetown, Ohio, two grandsons – Michael Parker and Rusty Parker and wife Becky; five great grandchildren – Owen, Jayden, Carson, Isaiah and Jaxon and one sister – Edna Shay and husband Jim of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the church. Interment will be in the Ash Ridge Cemetery in Ash Ridge, Ohio.
