Flora B. Wucher

Flora B. Wucher, age 97 of Blue Springs, Missouri and formerly of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at St. Mary's Manor in Blue Springs, Missouri. She had been a resident there for six years. She was a clerk for Germann's Grocery and Clyde's in Ripley for many years and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley. Mrs. Wucher was born on April 26, 1911 in Ripley, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lawrence Joseph and Elizabeth (Howard) Germann. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, five sisters and one grandson - Rick Wucher.

Mrs. Wucher is survived by one son, Lawrence Wucher and wife Joyce of Harrisonville, Missouri; four granddaughters - Michelle Howell and Melissa McMahon, both of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Angela Vochatzer and Cherity Shriver, both of Lee's Summit, Missouri; five great-grandchildren - Jamey and Caley Howell and Morgan McMahon, all of Hendersonville, Tennessee; Natasha Deines and Chelsea West of Lee's Summit, Missouri; one sister, Ruth Cahall of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Schmitmeyer will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
