Florence O. Gray

Florence Odesey Gray, age 102 of Beavercreek, Ohio, formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Heartland of Beavercreek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. She worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory in Ripley, Ohio and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Florence was born on June 7, 1905 in Flatwoods, Virginia the daughter of the late William T. and Dixie S. (Holbrook) Greear. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Karle Gray in 1979, two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Gray is survived by one daughter - Muriel Hill of Beavercreek, Ohio; two sons - Carl "Bill" Gray and wife Carolyn of Grove City, Ohio and John A. Gray of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren - Gale Winegarner and husband Kenneth of Beavercreek, Ohio, Bonnie Cherry of Columbus, Ohio, Virginia Cross of Circleville, Ohio, Joanna Kirkendall and husband Ben of Grove City, Ohio and Tammy Murphy and husband Scott of Newark, Ohio; ten great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. George Jackson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio.
