Flossie Loraine Adams

Flossie Loraine Adams, age 81 of Hamersville, Ohio died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the South West Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hamersville Baptist Church in Hamersville, Ohio. Flossie was born October 8, 1932 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of the late Luther Pitman and Edna (Waddle) Gaddis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Woodrow Adams in 2008 and one great-great grandson - Andrew Elliot.
Mrs. Adams is survived by three children - Karen S. Hornsby and husband Noel of West Chester, Ohio, Vicki Lucas and husband Jim of Georgetown, Ohio and Bill Rudd and wife Audra of Hamersville, Ohio; four grandchildren - Brian Hornsby of West Chester, Ohio, Jamie Lucas and wife Leah of Winchester, Ohio, Kenneth Lucas and wife Jamie of Russellville, Ohio and Terry Hornsby of Mason, Ohio; nine great grandchildren - Amber and Brandon Hornsby, Avery, Karrigan, Hunter and Tommy Lucas, Riley and Ricky Hite and Emily; four great-great grandchildren - Ava, Connor, Nathan and Andrea; one brother - Eugene Pitman and wife Juanita of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister - Ivadean Warren of Science Hill, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and her extended church family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Hamersville Baptist Church, 1661 State Route 125, Hamersville, Ohio 45130. Lloyd Hopper will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hamersville Baptist Church, 1661 State Route 125, Hamersville, Ohio 45130.
