Floyd Smith

Floyd Smith, age 93 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer, a factory worker and was a former member of the Brown County Board of Elections. Mr. Smith was born on October 22, 1913 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the son of the late Sherman and Katherine (Malott) Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife Violet (Eldridge) Smith and two grandchildren.

Mr. Smith is survived by three daughters - Bonnie Hall and husband Vincent of Okeechobee, Florida, Diana Brown of Georgetown, Ohio and Darlene Smith and husband John of Higginsport, Ohio; one son - Kevin Smith and wife Judy of Hamersville, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Alex Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
