Fred David McFarland

Fred David McFarland, 64 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at his home. He was a union laborer and a member of Local Unions 265 and 83. He was born June 22, 1962 in Maysville, Kentucky the son of the late Fred H. and Ruth Ellen (Cluxton) McFarland.

Mr. McFarland is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years – Lori Huff McFarland; two children – Ashley Wash (Robin) of Arnheim, Ohio and Clinton McFarland (Cecilia) of Ripley, Ohio; two grandchildren – Avery and Reid Wash; three brothers – C.W. McFarland (Bonnie) of Georgetown, Ohio, Joe McFarland (Lisa0 Georgetown, Ohio and Mike McFarland (Renee) of Ocala, Florida; mother and father-in-law – Joe and Phyllis Huff of Ripley, Ohio; sister-in-law – Kim Spiller (Curt) of Ripley, Ohio; brothers-in-law – Joe Huff (Glenda) of Ripley, Ohio and Chris Huff (Gina) of Cincinnati, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
