Genevieve Marie (Henize) Reid

Genevieve Marie Reid, age 77 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Friday, January 8, 2016 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worked in food service for the former Meadowwood Nursing Home and Brown County Senior Citizens. Mrs. Reid was born February 15, 1938 in Sardinia, Ohio the daughter of the late Virgil and Rosa (Huck) Henize. She was also preceded in death by one sister – Gladys Weber.
Mrs. Reid is survived by her loving husband of nearly sixty years – William E. Reid; two sons – Stephen W. Reid and wife Marjorie and Kevin A. Reid and wife Rebecca, both of Georgetown, Ohio; grandchildren – Gage Reid, Nicole Rigling, Travis Thomas, Emily Little and several other step-grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four sisters – Dorothy Brooks of Georgetown, Ohio, Mary Evans of Owensville, Ohio, Ruth Hall of Sardinia, Ohio and Mildred Lindsey of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Roy Henize of Georgetown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening, January 12. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
