Geoffrey Dwayne Grooms

Geoffrey Dwayne Grooms, age 58 of Hamersville, Ohio died Monday, May 4, 2015 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Grooms was an electrician for IBEW 212 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a United States Army veteran. He was born April 6, 1957 in Santa Rosa, California the son of Dora Lorene (Hargrove) Grooms of Manchester, Ohio and the late Loran Dale Grooms. He was also preceded in death by two brothers – Gregory and David Grooms.
Mr. Grooms is survived by his wife – Donna Lynn (Roush) Grooms, whom he married May 29, 1976; two children – Amber Grooms of Mt. Washington, Ohio and Grant Grooms and wife Brandi of Hamersville, Ohio; three grandchildren – Auri, Gauge and Graysen; one sister – Lorna Julian and husband Ron of Aberdeen, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Sunday.
