Freddy Lindsey , age 80 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at The Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Lindsey was a truck driver, a farmer, a U.S. Army Infantry veteran from 1949-1950 and then was a reservist until 1955 and a member of the AmVets Post #14 since 1969. He was born on September 23, 1926 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Lucian and Lena (Horn) Lindsey. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Lindsey, one grandson, Jonathon David Lindsey, two brothers, Joe and Clarence Lindsey and one sister, Maudie Day
Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife - Ada May (Lucas) Lindsey; two sons - Danny Lindsey of Georgetown, Ohio and Lucas Lindsey of Hamersville, Ohio; one daughter - Rose Marie Young of Hamersville, Ohio; six grandchildren - Mandy and Patti Lindsey, Jessica and Katie Young and Tara and Duane McQuitty; three brothers - Ray Lindsey of Alabama, Woody Lindsey of Hawaii and Gayle Lindsey of Georgetown, Ohio and two sisters - Inez Kinnett of Sardinia, Ohio and Marie Holt of South Carolina.
There will be no services. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
