Gerald W. Lindsey

Gerald Wayne Lindsey, age 86 of Hamersville, Ohio died Friday, December 24, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Lindsey was a farmer, a former Clark Township Trustee, former Hamersville School Board member, a field reporter for the Brown County ASCS and served three terms on the ASCS Brown County board and was a former board member of the Farm Home Administration. He was born on July 10, 1918 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Ora and Anna (Rice) Lindsey.

Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife of nearly sixty-five years - Helen (Stiers) Lindsey; two daughters - Patricia Cornett and husband Kirby and Beverly Cropper and husband Sam all of Hamersville, Ohio; one son - Larry Lindsey and wife Mary of Hamersville, Ohio; six grandchildren - Kristi Carter, Melissa Dotson, Jared Cornett, Alicia Shope, Jill Cropper and Stephanie Dyer; twelve great grandchildren and one sister - Marilyn Nesbitt of Lebanon, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Revs. Mike Starkey and Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 - 9 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
