Geta Gable

Geta Marieann Gable, age 64 of Mt.Orab, Ohio died June 10, 2012 at her residence. She was retired from the Meridian Bioscience Company in Cincinnati, Ohio and a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ohio. Geta was born July 20, 1947 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph and Grace (Scott) Fithen. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Gable on 2009.

Mrs. Gable is survived by three children - Tammy Wood of Oxford, Ohio, Amanda Widmeyer and husband John of Sardinia, Ohio and Richard Gable and wife Calista of Georgetown, Ohio; twenty grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother - Lowell Fithen and wife Charlee of Milford, Ohio; one sister - Becky Utter of Georgetown, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Georgetown Church of Christ. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 4380 Glendale-Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242 or to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
