Gladys Marie Laycock

Gladys Marie Laycock, age 100, of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Laycock was retired from the dietary department of the Brown County General Hospital. She was born on September 14, 1904 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Bert and Lottie (Cooper) Glaze. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Laycock; brothers and sisters - Clarace Stephenson, Margaret Pohl, Ruth McElfresh, Robert Glaze and infants, Ray and Esther Glaze and one half sister, Joanne Glaze.

Mrs. Laycock is survived by four daughters - Catherine White of Georgetown, Ohio, Helen Anderson of Sydney, Ohio, Shirley Baird of Stanton, Virginia and Virginia Mann of Dayton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, one great great great grandchild; one half sister - Joyce Webster and one half brother - Jim Glaze.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Ed Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be from 12-2 P.M Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Villa Georgetown Activities Fund, 8065 Dr. Faul Rd., Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
