Gladys Marie Lucas

Gladys Marie Lucas, age 78 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hospice of Southwest Ohio in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was retired from PCP Champion in Ripley and was a member of the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post 367 Auxiliary in Ripley. Mrs. Lucas was born February 21, 1936 in Sparta, Kentucky the daughter of the late Marvin and Melissa (Browning) Marksberry. She was also preceded in death by one brother - Robert Earl Marksberry.
Mrs. Lucas is survived by her husband of fifty years - William Carl Lucas; one daughter - Michele Brown and significant other - Bobby Ruth of Madeira, Ohio and his children - Austin and Jamie Ruth; one grandson - Brandon Brown of Madeira, Ohio and one sister - Betty Younger (Larry) of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Monday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
