Gladys Miller

Gladys Miller, age 98, a long time resident of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Twin Towers Methodist Retirement Village in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Miller was a bookkeeper for forty years for her husband's business, Ora R. Miller Farm Implements and was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church for nearly seventy years. Fifty of those years of active participation with the United Methodist Women, playing piano and the organ at the church. Mrs. Miller was an active member of the Research Club and volunteered at the Brown County General Hospital and the Brown County Senior Citizens Center. She was born on November 26, 1909 in Sardinia, Ohio the daughter of the late Melvin and Edna (Hayes) Wardlow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ora Miller in 1974, one brother Everett Wardlaw and one sister, Pauline Bradford.

Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons - Donald Miller and wife Phyllis of Mason, Ohio and Kenneth Miller and wife Marian of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren - Wes Miller, Sarah Miller, Kimberly Stewart and Jeff Miller and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. Saturday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, 217 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
