Gladys Spidel

Gladys M. Spidel, age 87 of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio. She was born September 11, 1923 in Vincent, Alabama the daughter of the late Noble Gates and Zula Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Robert T. Spidel, Sr. in 2008 and ten brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Spidel is survived by one step-son - Robert T. Spidel, Jr. of Georgia; two sisters - Rose Cunningham of Alabama and Billie John Grant of Cincinnati, Ohio and one brother - Johnny Cunningham of New York.
Following cremation, a memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Meadowwood Care Center Chapel in Georgetown, Ohio. Gary Brose will officiate. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
