Glenda Jean Jenkins

Glenda Jean Jenkins, age 69 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, flea markets, auctions, antiques and farming. She was born on January 22, 1939 in Fleming County, Kentucky the daughter of the Herman and Lucy (McCann) Prater. She was also preceded in death by one brother - Raymond Prater and one sister - Patty Prater.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband of fifty-two years - Donald Robert Jenkins; three sons - Robert Ray Jenkins and wife Karen of East Gate, Ohio; Rick Allen Jenkins and wife Missy of Mt.Orab, Ohio and David Michael Jenkins, who is currently serving our country in Iraq, and wife Ginger of Williamsburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren - Kim Barachman and husband John, Sara Johnson and husband Matt, Megan, Mary Beth, Maria, Alana and Seth Jenkins and Katie Boggess and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt.Orab, Ohio 45154.
