Glenna Pauline Carcon

Glenna Pauline Carcon, age 91of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her residence. Ms. Carcon was a graduate of The Ohio State University, a retired nurse anesthetist at the former Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio, a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church and a former Boy Scout Leader of Pack #304. She was born January 25, 1925 in Lancaster, Ohio the daughter of the late Otis and Sadie Elizabeth (Speirs) Holdren. She was also preceded in death by one brother – George Holdren and one sister – Mary Smeltzer.

Ms. Carcon is survived by one daughter – Lisa Garcia and husband David of Van Nuys, California; one son – Andrew Carcon of New Zealand; five grandchildren – Jeremy Carcon of Hamersville, Ohio, Sydney Davis of Georgetown, Ohio, Colter Carcon of New Zealand and Rachel Criswell and Perry Garcia both of California; eight great grandchildren – Samantha, Conner and James Carcon, Tristen, Hayden and Savanah Davis and Isabelle and Amalie Criswell; two sisters – Pearl Seward of Virginia and Sadie Ann Moore of Baltimore, Ohio and one brother – Michael Holdren of Chillicothe, Ohio.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday.
