Gordon Bruce Thompson

Gordon Bruce Thompson, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio. Mr. Thompson was a retired maintenance employee of the Pepsi Company and Milacron and was a member of the Higginsport Christian Church. He was born May 4, 1927 in Robertson County, Kentucky the son of the late Hargis and Maggie Ellen (Shields) Thompson. He was also preceded in death by one brother - Robert Thompson and six sisters - Betty Hines, Jean Ohl, Hazel McKenzie, Josie Blair, Margie Thompson and Janet Thompson.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife - Martha Thompson of Ripley, Ohio and two sisters - Nell Waits and husband Steve of Hillsboro, Ohio and Sylvia Carter of Norwood, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery.
