Grace Imogene Fithen

Grace Imogene Fithen, age 82, of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, August 27, 2004 at the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Fithen was a homemaker and formerly a sales clerk and manager. She was also a former president of the Georgetown Fire Department Auxiliary. She was born in Georgetown, Ohio on June 9, 1922 the daughter of the late Wesley and Amanda (Watson) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Richard Fithen and 10 brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Fithen is survived by one son - Lowell Fithen of Milford, Ohio; two daughters - Geta Gable of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Rebecca Utter of Georgetown, Ohio; 7 grandchildren - Tammy Wood, Ronnie Fithen, Amanda Widmeyer, Todd Fithen, Rick Gable, Kyle Utter and Shannon Utter; 23 great grandchildren and one brother - Lester Scott of Sardinia, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. John Bender will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brown County Peace Officers, c/o The Christmas Cheer.
