Gregory "Egg" Ring

Gregory Allen “Egg” Ring, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio passes away Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Mercy Medical Center in Mt.Orab, Ohio. He was born April 10, 1957 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Henry M. and Betty (Witten) Ring. Greg was a dedicated retired rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Mt. Orab, Ohio. In addition to his years of faithful service, Greg was a proud farmer and a valued member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2293 in Georgetown, Ohio. His passion for sports was evident as a lifelong fan of UK Basketball as well as the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Greg also found joy in golfing, bowling and listening to the timeless music of The Rat Pack. His commitment to community and his varied interests celebrate a life well-lived and cherished by family and friends alike.

Mr. Ring is survived by his wife of 23 years – Annette J. (Diesman) Ring whom he married October 12, 2002; one step-daughter – Angela Jane of Cincinnati, Ohio; five brothers and sisters-in-law – Theresa and Denny Smith of New Richmond, Ohio, Nancy Ryan of Mt.Orab, Ohio, Paul Diesman of Batavia, Ohio, Joe Diesman of Goshen, Ohio and Norman Diesman of Georgia; three fur babies – Brick, Brewster and Bruno and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
