Harold Glenn Carpenter

Harold Glenn Carpenter, age 89 of Felicity, Ohio, died Thursday, June 30 2016 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was a United States Army Veteran, a retired machinist from Cincinnati Milacron and a member of the Higginsport Christian Church in Higginsport, Ohio. Mr. Carpenter was born November 27, 1926 in Aberdeen, Ohio the son of the late Forrest and Ella Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by two sisters – Helen Howard and Dorothy Conard and one brother – Forrest Carpenter, Jr..
Mr. Carpenter is survived by his loving wife of sixty-seven years – Norma Lee (Coleman) Carpenter; three daughters – Glenda Updike (David) of Higginsport, Ohio, Roxanne Robinson (Terry) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Rebecca Wylie (Ken) of Williamsburg, Ohio; one son Jeff Carpenter (Patty) of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother – Robert Carpenter (Norma) of Ripley, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Bill Arnold will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley with military honors provided by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
