Harry C. Wallace

Harry "Doc" C. Wallace, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio formerly of Lancaster and Newark, Ohio, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a retired U.S. World War II Marine sargeant veteran serving in the Guadalcanal Campaign, retired after twenty-eight years from the Alaska Department of Public Works as a crane operator, a former member of the Moose Lodge Chapter #1892 in North Port, Florida and the Englewood Elks Lodge #2378 and a member of NARFE. Doc was born on May 7, 1922 in Newark, Ohio the son of Eugene N. and Minnie Mae (Webb) Wallace. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two wives a
