Hazel Marie Walker

Hazel Marie Walker, age 63 of Hamersville, Ohio died Wednesday, March 04, 2009 at her residence. She was a STNA at the Batavia Nursing and Convalescent Home in Batavia, Ohio. Hazel was born on September 20, 1945 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Shelby and Florence (Clark) Bloomfield. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands - Chester R. Walker and William Lake; two daughters - Florence Jean Lake in 2003 and Elizabeth Ann Lake in 2005 and one grandson - Joshua David Bowman in 1989.

Mrs. Walker is survived by five sons - Charles Walker of Sardinia, Ohio; Ernest Walker and wife Diana and Robert Walker all of Vanceburg, Kentucky; Jeffery Walker of Manchester, Ohio; Floyd Walker of Hamersville, Ohio; four daughters - Bonnie Holland and husband Terry and Katherine Robinson and husband Wayne all of Georgetown, Ohio; Virginia Mingua and husband Kenneth of Manchester, Ohio and Linda Bowman and husband Harold of Sardinia, Ohio; eleven grandsons - Terry and Jonathon Holland, Ernest Ray and Travis Walker, Shannon Hall, James, Jeremy and Harold Jr. Bowman, Justin Figgins, Kevin Robinson and Jeremy Mingua; six granddaughters - Shae, Christian and Sylvia Walker, Natalie Bowman, Kelly Holland and Melissa Mingua; seven great-grandchildren - Landon Cooper, Braydon, Josh and Jonathon Bowman, Landon Figgins, Grace Walker and Jasmine Lainhart; five brothers - Vernon Bloomfield and wife Mary, Charles Bloomfield and wife Regina, Alan Bloomfield and wife Helen, Herbert Bloomfield and Rick Bloomfield and wife Brenda all of Vanceburg, Kentucky and one sister - Flora Carrington of Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
