Helen Florence Adams

Helen Florence Adams, age 78 of Higginsport, Ohio died Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center In Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Adams had worked for the US Shoe Corporation. She was born on October 9, 1931 in Higginsport, Ohio the daughter of the late Orach and Ethel (Bravard) Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her husband - Ivan (Johnny) Adams in 1998, they were married on June 14, 1946, four brothers and three sisters.

Helen is survived by eight children - Karen Howard and husband Kenny of Jacksonville, Florida, Mike Adams and wife Chris of Palm Bay, Florida, Patricia Ellis and husband Wayne of Ripley, Ohio, Brenda Schadle and husband Johnny of Georgetown, Ohio, Matt Adams and wife Kathy of Higginsport, Ohio, Mark Adams and wife Tammy of Maysville, Kentucky, Angel Craig of Higginsport, Ohio and Marty Adams and wife Dana of Ripley, Ohio, twenty-two grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one sister - Mary Lippmeier of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Revs. Clark Castle and Don Owens will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ohio Valley Manor Activities Fund, 5280 Rts. 62 & 68, Ripley, Ohio 45167 or to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45167.
