Helen G. Brandstutter, age 69 of Lynchburg, Ohio, formerly of Georgetown, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ohio. She was a retired housekeeper for Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Mariemont, Ohio. Mrs. Brandstutter was born on November 22, 1938 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Clay Harvey and Mary Lillian (Cook) Vest. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Brandstutter, in 1983, three brothers - Clyde, Arnold and Arville Vest, one sister - Laura Hammer and two grandchildren - Amberly Brandstutter and Mark Anthony Brandstutter.
Mrs. Brandstutter is survived by four children - Charles Brandstutter of Lynchburg, Ohio; Herman Brandstutter and wife Carrie of Williamsburg, Ohio; Geneva Webster and husband Michael of Lynchburg, Ohio and Mark Brandstutter and wife Tina of Georgetown, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother - Leo Vest and wife Bessie of Alexandria, Kentucky; one sister-in-law - Evelyn Vest of Batavia, Ohio; one uncle - Willard Taylor and wife Wanda of Batavia, Ohio; two nephews - James Addison and wife Gladys of Williamsburg, Ohio and Rick Vest and wife Tonya of Batavia, Ohio and one niece - Brenda Clifton and husband Joe of Sardinia, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bill Collett with officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Friday, September 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery, Mt. Orab, Ohio.
