Henry Kaetzel, Jr., age 94 of Hamersville, Ohio died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Care Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was a school bus driver for 21 years for the Western Brown Local School District, a farmer, a United States WWII Army veteran and a member of the Bible Chapel United Church in Hamersville, Ohio and the J. B. Covert Masonic Lodge #437. Henry was born November 28, 1921 in Cheviot, Ohio the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Auel) Kaetzel. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers – Richard and Earl Kaetzel and two sisters – Dorothy Davis and Ella Philhower.
Mr. Kaetzel is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Ruth (Kraus) Wilson Kaetzel; three sons – Jim Wilson and wife Kathy of Hamersville, Ohio, Ron Kaetzel of Georgetown, Ohio and Tom Kaetzel of Hamersville, Ohio; four granddaughters – Cindy Whitehead and husband Chris of Sardinia, Ohio, Melissa Cole and husband Shawn Cole of Georgetown, Ohio and Lauren and Taylor Wilson both of Hamersville, Ohio and two great grandchildren – Andrew and Anna Whitehead.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
