Henry Andrew Meinken

Henry Andrew "Harry" Meinken, age 88 of Aberdeen, Ohio and formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home in West Union, Ohio. He was a retired sheet metal maintenance employee with the General Electric Company and a United States Army World War II veteran. Harry was born on June 19, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Clupp) Meinken. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha (Neubert) Meinken.

Mr. Meinken is survived by one son - Kenneth Meinken and his wife Delorise of Aberdeen, Ohio; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one sister - Eleanor Jennings of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Interment will take place at the Crown Hill Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
