Herbert Gilreath,Sr.

Herbert Gilreath, Sr., age 82 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Christ hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a machinist. Herbert was born February 16, 1929 in Holly Hill, Kentucky the son of the late Clarence and Rosetta (Taylor) Gilreath. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife - Versie (Carnes) Gilreath in 2006, one son - Clarence Gilreath, one brother - James Gilreath and one sister a€" Hazel Gilreath.
Mr. Gilreath is survived by six children - Herbert Gilreath, Jr. of Georgetown, Ohio, Barbara Gilreath of Georgetown, Ohio, Marinda McCoy of West Palm Beach, Florida, Wanda Bullis and husband Mike of Georgetown, Ohio, Charlene Holt and husband Douglas of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dorothy Schroth and husband Brian of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; one great grandson and one sister - Lora Comstock of Hamersville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Pastor Jimmy Regan will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
