Homer Ray Jump

Homer Ray Jump, age 73 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Mt. Orab, Ohio. He was an operations manager at Trinity Industries, a Deacon at the Central Baptist Church in Williamsburg, Ohio and a member of Gideons International. Mr. Jump was born October 1, 1939 in Covington, Kentucky the son of the late Alvina Jump. He was also preceded in death by one daughter- Janet Collins and one sister - Kay Webster.
Mr. Jump is survived by his wife of 53 years, Olwen (Soward) Jump; three daughters - Jackie Jump-Smith and husband Timothy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy Sroufe and husband Randy of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jennifer Bohrer and husband Tony of Mt. Orab, Ohio; one son - George Jump and wife Julie of Mt. Orab, Ohio; four brothers - Herbert Webster of Atlanta, GA, Henry Webster of Piner, Kentucky, Kenny Webster of Independence, Kentucky and George Jump of Covington, Kentucky; one sister - Mattie Pearl Cochran of Covington, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Pastor Ken Rivera will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery, Mt. Orab, Ohio.
