Howard Adams, age 88 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was in Company A in the 357th Infantry Division. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with four Bronze Stars. He also served during the Korean War. Mr. Adams worked for NCR for sixteen years and was a general contractor. He was born March 2, 1924 in Aberdeen, Ohio the son of the late Mike and Anna Mary (Kirk) Adams.
