James Robert Blanton

James Robert Blanton, age 41 of Mt.Orab, Ohio died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Robert Paul and JoAnn (Longhauser) Blanton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter – Aubrey Bravard, one brother – Gary Blanton and father-in-law – George Flaugher.

Mr. Blanton is survived by his wife of thirteen years – Ruth (Flaugher) Blanton, whom he married January 22, 2002; three daughters – Virginia Blanton, JoAnn Blanton and Renee Martin all of Mt.Orab, Ohio; one son – Brayland Gray of Mt.Orab, Ohio; six sisters – Barbara Longhauser of Georgetown, Ohio. Bonnie Blanton of Bethel, Ohio, Brenda Burger of Brookville, Indiana, Beverly Brunk of Bethel, Ohio, Robin Boland of Withamsville, Ohio and Becky Jo Taylor of Mt.Orab, Ohio; one brother – Paul Blanton of Washington Court House, Ohio; mother-in-law – Marilyn Flaugher of Felicity, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Terry Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, December 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery near Georgetown, Ohio.
