James Edward Eckler

James Edward Eckler, age 70 of Manchester, Ohio, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at his residence. He was born on February, 23, 1938 in Ripley, Ohio, the son of the late Jack and Ruth Eckler. He was also preceded in death by one brother - Bill Eckler and two sisters - Dora Mullikin and Patricia Kiskadden.
Mr. Eckler is survived by his wife, of nearly fifty one years, Maude Eckler; two daughters - Deborah Polley of Manchester, Ohio and Patricia (Wayne) Pitts of Maysville, Kentucky; three sons - Jeff Eckler (Haylee), Roger Holsinger and David Gray, all of Manchester, Ohio; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister - Betty Green of Ripley, Ohio; one brother - Danny Ramsey; very dear friends - the Hummels of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
