James "Jim" G. Johnson, II, age 73 of Canton, New York died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his residence while under the care of his loving family and Hospice. He graduated from the Charleston High School in 1959 and later attended the West Virginia University and the University of Kentucky. Jim was born June 9, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late James G. and Irma G. Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judy (Young) Johnson, whom he married February 12, 1977; one son - James "Jay" G. Johnson, III of California; one sister - Joyce Johnson of Orlando, Florida; his mother-in-law - Esther Young of Mt. Orab, Ohio; five sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab is serving the family.
