James Smitson

James William Smitson, age 85 of Higginsport, Ohio died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was retired shoe cutter from the US Shoe Factory in Ripley, Ohio, a United State Army Veteran and a devoted Christian. Jim was born August 28, 1927 in Glendale, Ohio the son of the late Lon and Chloe (McBeath) Smitson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Gerald Smitson.
