James Melvin Teeters

James Melvin Teeters, age 70 of Temple, Texas died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Mr. Teeters was a cook for many years and an United States Marine Veteran. He was born on June 6, 1938 in Fayetteville, Ohio the son of the late Jess and Iola (Walker) Teeters. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers- Jesse Earl, Edgar, Vernon and Lowell "Tom" Teeters.
Mr. Teeters is survived by three sons- Allan Teeters and wife Cheryl of Huber Heights, Ohio; Steve Teeters of Naples, Florida and Tim Teeters and wife Michelle of Temple, Texas; one daughter- Eva Oliver and husband Bobby of Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren - Rachel Bose and husband Allan, Billy, Mikaela, Steven Jr., Anthony and Katlin Teeters; one great=granddaughter-Katlin Bose; four brothers - Roger Teeters of Cooper Cove, Texas; John Teeters of Ashville, North Carolina; Charles Teeters of Burlington, Kentucky and Eugene Teeters of Punta Gorda, Florida; three sisters - Lillian Williams of West Chester, Ohio; Florence Baker of Bethel, Ohio and Iola Wolford of Caldwell, Idaho and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
