Jane Ann Sininger

Jane Ann Sininger, age 83 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at the Hospice of Cincinnati-East Inpatient Care Center in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was born September 1, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Harold C. and Rebecca (Frebis) Neu. Jane was a retired teacher and guidance counselor. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1959, continuing her education at the University of Miami, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and a member of the Miami University Band. Jane furthered her studies, obtaining a master’s degree in psychology from Xavier University. Her teaching career began at the Milford Exempted Village School District, but it was at the Georgetown Exempted Village School District where she devoted 30 years of her life, influencing countless students before her retirement. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jane was deeply committed to her community and her faith. She was an active member of the Georgetown Methodist Church, where she played the organ for an impressive 51 years. Her contributions extended beyond the church as she served as the EMIS Coordinator, a trustee for the Mary P. Shelton Library and was involved with the US Grant Boyhood Home Organization. Jane also took pride in her role as a Cub Scout Leader, guiding young minds with compassion and care. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jane’s commitment to education and community service leaves an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Mrs. Sininger is survived by her husband of 63 years – Ralph Sininger whom she married July 28, 1962; three children – Gordon Sininger and wife Robin of Georgetown, Ohio, Ann Ellis and husband Bryan of Loveland, Ohio and David Sininger and wife Kelly of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren – Elani and husband Austin, Tyler, Trey, Abigail and Anastasia and one sister – Nancy Purdy and husband Stan of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Georgetown Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 217 South Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Dan Pelzel will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
