Janice Pryor

Janice Pauline Pryor, age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Batavia Nursing Care Center in Batavia, Ohio. She was born May 5, 1939 in Cook County, Illinois the daughter of the late Clifford Farrell and Florence Giesel. Janice was a retired interior decorator. She was known for her creativity, particularly her talent for crafting decorative cards for all occasions. Janice cherished the moments spent with her family, who were central to her life. Her warm spirit and artistic flair will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children – Linda Rowe, Bridget Pryor and Glenn Scott Pryor, two brothers – Thomas and Carl Moore and two sisters – Arlene Koski and Rosalee Rose.

Ms. Pryor is survived by one son – Henry (Hank) Pryor and wife Sandy of Batavia, Ohio; one daughter – Tammy Sutter of Owensville, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; thirty- five great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; three brothers - Bob Moore of Portsmouth, Ohio, Richard Moore and wife Charlene of California and Harry Moore and wife Marilou of Portsmouth, Ohio and two sisters – Elaine Crawford of Portsmouth, Ohio and Phyllis Entwistle of Hillsboro, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Pastor John Weis will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
