Jean Garnet Napier Rumpke, age 76 of Blanchester, Ohio died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her residence. She was a retired forklift operator for Senco and a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 Ladies Auxiliary in Georgetown, Ohio. Jean was born April 20, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Emma Louise Barkley, Sr. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister.

Mrs. Rumpke is survived by her husband, William Rumpke; six children – Debbie Napier of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marvin “Andy” Napier of Florida, Holly DeRose of Maysville, Kentucky, Mike Napier and wife Dawn of Georgetown, Ohio, Pete Napier of Wilmington, Ohio and Randy Napier of Florida; two step-children – Scott Rumpke and wife Chris of Wilmington, Ohio and Wilda Rumpke of Waynesville, Ohio; four grandchildren – Beth and Charlie Napier and Justin and Travis Boyd; seven step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; one brother – Frank Barkley, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio and her special dog – Baby.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
