Jean Connor Richey Purdy

Jean Connor Richey Purdy, age 70 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Purdy was born on April 8, 1938 in Feesburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Olen Eugene and Thelma Fern (Smitson) Connor. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Richey, one daughter, Dorothy Gibson, twin infant sisters, Henrietta and Marietta Connor and one brother, Franklin Eugene Connor.

Mrs. Purdy is survived by her husband - Lewis Purdy; three sons - Chris Richey of Sardinia, Ohio and Bud and Larry Richey both of Florida; four step sons - Alan Purdy of Sardinia, Ohio and Dan, Dale and John Purdy all of Georgetown, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren; one brother - James Robert Connor and wife Nancy of Feesburg, Ohio and two sisters - Carol Sue Batchelor of Florida and Ruth Ann Fithen of Ripley, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Sunday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
