Jeanette Holden Williams

Jeanette Holden Williams, age 98 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a farmer. Mrs. Williams was born on September 19, 1910 in Higginsport, Ohio, the daughter of the late Aqilla and Nancy Jane (Johnson) Herrington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Wendell Williams in 1969; Frank and Edna Holden who raised her and her father and mother-in-law, Oliver Perry and Mildred (Hopkins) Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by one son - Oliver W. Williams and wife Barbara A. of Ripley, Ohio; one daughter - Nancy J. Voiselle and husband Rex of Greenwood, South Carolina; five grandchildren - David Williams and wife Meghan of Amelia, Ohio; Deron Williams and wife Stephany of Felicity, Ohio; Andrea L. Poole of Cincinnati, Ohio; Leslie Poole, Jr. and wife Raye of Greenwood, South Carolina and Christi Duffie and husband Joey of Greenwood, South Carolina; seven great-grandchildren - Adycen Cooper Williams, Mason Williams, Nickolas Williams, Owen Williams, Holden Poole, Tanner Duffie and Payton Duffie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be sent to Ohio Valley Manor Activities Fund, 5280 SR 62 & 68, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
