Jeffrey L. Malott

Jeffrey Lloyd Malott, age 62 of Georgetown, Ohio entered eternal peace on April  26, 2016 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a hard fought battle against esophageal cancer. Jeffrey worked as a cutter grinder for the Ford Motor Company for over 30 years and was a member of the Georgetown Masonic Lodge F&AM #72 and the Georgetown United Methodist Church. As a loving father and grandfather, his selfless spirit coupled with an immeasurable work ethic and sense of humor will be missed by many. Jeffrey was born February 8, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of Lloyd Malott of Mt.Orab, Ohio and the late Virginia (Charleston) Malott. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife - Dee Ann (Fritz) Malott in 2014.

In addition to his father, Mr. Malott is survived by two daughters- Meredith Ford and husband Garrett Ford of Amelia, Ohio and Lindsey Malott of Georgetown, Ohio; two grandchildren- Mia Ford and Jordan Ford; two brothers - Michael Malott and wife Nancy of Lynchburg, Ohio and Greg Malott and wife Teresa of Mt.Orab, Ohio; one sister - Deborah Eldridge and husband David of Mt.Orab, Ohio; father-in-law - Richard Fritz of Georgetown, Ohio and one sister-in-law - Vicki Fritz of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Zedda E. Myers will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
