Jim Carrington

James Olan "Jim" Carrington, age 66 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the owner and operator of Jim Carrington Trucking and a United States Vietnam War Army veteran. Jim was born May 29, 1948 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Olan and Hilda (Young) Carrington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one great nephew - Brandon Scott.

Mr. Carrington is survived by one brother - Gary Carrington and wife Sherri of Georgetown, Ohio; two sisters - Alice Kattine and husband Carl "Gunner" and Angela Carrington all of Georgetown, Ohio. five nieces and nephews - Jill Scott and husband Alan, Chris Kattine and wife Christi, Brian Carrington and wife Jessica, Evan Carrington and wife Renee and Caitlin Armstrong and husband Dustin all of Georgetown, Ohio; seven great nieces and nephews - Justin and Logan Scott, Jordan and Madison Kattine and Connor, Lindsey and Cooper Carrington; a very special friend whom he considered his son - Jonathon Campbell and wife Cathy of Hillsboro, Ohio and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio will military services by the Carey-Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
