Jimmy Poe

James "Jimmy" Albert Poe, age 64 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Christ Hospital in the Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of the Mt.Orab Bible Baptist Church in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Jimmy was born on July 11, 1945 in Mayslick, Kentucky the son of the late Jasper and Mamie (Tucker) Poe. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers - Marshall, Robert "Bob" and Harold Poe and one sister - Helen Wilkinson.

Mr. Poe is survived by one brother - Thomas Poe and wife Marge of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters - Frances Vandergriff and husband Clarence of New Richmond, Ohio and Ruth Abrams and husband Art of Pebbles, Ohio; one sister in-law - Rosie Poe of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georegtown, Ohio is serving the family.
