Jimmy Vaughn

James R. "Jimmy" Vaughn, age 61 of Higginsport, Ohio, died Monday, August 25, 2008 at his residence. He was a construction superintendent. He was born on July 28, 1947 in Ripley, Ohio, the son of Myrtie (Miller) Vaughn of Ripley, Ohio and the late Charles L. "Speed" Vaughn. He was also preceded in death by one brother - Charles Lee Vaughn.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his wife - Margie (Coleman) Vaughn; one daughter - Missy Thompson of Russellville, Ohio; one son - Joe Vaughn of Ripley, Ohio; one stepdaughter - Debbie Hines of Aberdeen, Ohio and one stepson - Charles (Chuck) Lunsford of Ripley, Ohio; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; one sister - Kathy Birchfield of Ripley, Ohio and many dear friends.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
