Joe H. Holloway, Jr., age 84 of Hamersville, Ohio died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Meadowwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer. Jr. was born February 9, 1926 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Joe H. and Edna (Powell) Holloway, Sr.
Mr. Holloway is survived by two step-sisters - June Pittinger of Georgetown, Ohio and Velta Benham of Versailles, Indiana; one step-sister in-law - Mary Geeslin of Athens, Texas and one nephew a€" Kenneth Geeslin of Athens, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Tom Friskney will officiate. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Meadowwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 61 Stephens Ave., Georgetown, Ohio 45121 or to Crossroads Hospice, 4360 Glendale-Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
