Joe Koewler

Joseph Andrew Koewler, age 84 of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday October 4, 2014 at his residence. He was a custodian for the Village of Ripley for over forty years and had worked for the former Kirkpatrick Funeral Home and Trapp and Wilson Funeral Home in Ripley. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley and a former member of the Ripley Fire Department. Joe was born November 10, 1929 in Brown County, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister - Jean Bradford and one brother - Robert Sutton.

Joe is survived by two brothers - Stephen Sutton and wife Donna of Ripley, Ohio and Richard Sutton and wife Cynthia of Blanchester, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at St. Michael Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will follow the funeral Mass in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
