Joe Martin

Joseph "Joe" Martin, Jr. , age 91 of Felicity, Ohio, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a farmer, a director for the Higginsport Bank for 43 years and attended the Georgetown Church of Christ. Joe was born on May 20, 1916 on the family farm in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Joe Sr. and Bessie (Myers) Martin. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Fay (Kirk) Martin in 1997.

Mr. Martin is survived by two daughters - Judy Gray and husband Rodney of Felicity, Ohio and Kelley Westwood and husband Jack of Crescent Springs, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and one brother- Lewis Martin of Melbourne, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday December 28, 2007 at the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Henning and Tom Friskney will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
