John W. Alles
November 12, 1926 — May 27, 2008
John W. Alles, age 81 of Aberdeen, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a United States Navy WW II Veteran, a retired project manager for Dravo Corporation, a very active member of Community Bible Church in Aberdeen, Ohio, a member of The Shriners and a member of the Elks. Mr. Alles was born on November 12, 1926 in Greeley, Colorado the son of the late John and Elizabeth Alles. He was also preceded in death by one sister Betty Moore and two brothers, Willard and Roland Alles.
Mr. Alles is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Judy (Malone) Alles; one son, Scott Alles of Aberdeen, Ohio; one daughter, Rhonda Purdon of Tollesboro, Kentucky and one granddaughter, Brittany Purdon of Tollesboro, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 30, 2008 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Ken Spielvogel will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery near Tollesboro, Kentucky.
