John David McAllister, age 68 of Vero Beach, Florida died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a factory worker. Mr. McAllister was born February 26, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late John and Edwina (Carter) McAllister. He was also preceded in death by one sister – Carol Waits.
Mr. McAllister is survived by three children - Frankie, Gary and Tina McAllister, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters – George McAllister of Ripley, Ohio, Brenda Baden of Bethel, Ohio, Barbara Beckett of Ripley, Ohio, Robert McAllister of St. Petersburg, Florida, Belinda Beckelhymer of Felicity, Ohio, Sharon Doyle of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Rebecca McAllister of Ohio and Jonathon McAllister of Cleveland, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
