Joseph Michael Snyder, Jr., age 88 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was born June 28, 1936 in Danbury, Connecticut the son of the late Joseph M. Snyder, Sr. and Veronica (Gryncewicz) Snyder. Joseph was a devoted United States Navy veteran, having enlisted in January 1959. He dedicated four years of service to his country as a Bombardier Navigator, on jets flying off naval carriers at the start of the Vietnam War. After his military service, Joseph enjoyed a successful career as a salesman for Procter and Gamble. His contributions both to his country and in his professional life reflect his commitment and dedication. He will be remembered for his service and the positive impact he made throughout his life. Besides his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years – Marilyn (Tolbart) Snyder in 2023 and one sister – Joan Snyder.

Mr. Snyder is survived by four children – Dean Snyder of Bozeman, Montana, Kris Maloney and husband Tim of Winchester, Ohio, Joe Snyder, III and wife Sandy of Jacksonville, Florida, Jon Snyder and wife Alanna of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren – Ben Maloney, Shannon Maloney, Alex Snyder, Jeannette Snyder and Joseph Snyder; one great grandchild – Noah Maloney; one brother – Jack Snyder of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
